Meet Timur. 2 Years Old and Rolling with Ookkie!

We spoke to mum, Julia, to learn a bit more about Timur's journey with the Ookkie. Here's what they had to say.

What was your reason for getting an Ookkie?

I saw it on Instagram and thought it was the coolest thing I've ever seen. I knew my son would love this too, so I ordered it immediately. It was the present for his 1st birthday.

Describe the learning experience on the Ookkie for us.

We tried out our Ookkie the same day we received it and I was right - Timur loved it. There were no problems skating on it. After about 5 rides he took his hands off the handle and was skating like a king. Sometimes he holds onto the handle, sometimes he doesn't. But we both still love it!

Do you get any comments when you're out and about riding the board?

Oh yes!! Every time we go out with our Ookkie, all the people are watching and saying that they have never seen something like this before.

How has the Ookkie helped your little one in their development?

Well he learned how to balance. After that, he quickly learned how to ride his run bike and also his scooter - within 15 months.

How has the Ookkie become a part of your family life and routine?

When we don't want to take our stroller we always take the Ookkie. That happens very often. Skating on an Ookkie is faster and easier than walking a  long way for a toddler. And the toddler is still more active than if he would sit in the stroller or be on your arms.
